Recruiting Process Phase - 6


Phase VI – Follow up on Submissions
1. After submitting the profile to the manager or client ---- follow up with the client for the updates on submissions.


2. Follow up with consultant regularly and update him the progress of submissions and clients feedback.


3. If client short lists for an interview, do check with consultant and let client know and find out daily to touch base with consultant and make sure the consultant is ready and prepared for the interview and also make sure one day before the interview to let consultant know and be aware of the interview.


4. Do send interview confirmation emails to consultant along with voice over the phone.


5. Once the interview is completed, check with consultant that if the job requirement is still ok with him or he is nervous with client expectation on certain skill set and if consultant want to recall from submission on the job. Immediately confirm with your manager and inform the client about the situation before client decides to hire.


6. If consultant likes the job description that been heard during the interview and consultant feedback looks like that the client liked then recruiter continuously follow up with the client and wait to see what decision has been made.


7. If client has made decision and decided to hire the consultant. Then recruiter will follow up with client on Purchase Order and start date etc details to coordinate the consultant for to start on start date.


8. Recruiter should be needed to learn to read PO completely and make sure they are not any risk or liability points that to be noted by company before making final confirmation with the client regarding the consultant start date.


9. Recruiter continuously follows up with the consultant on back ground checks and travel plans if any and make sure the consultant reports to the client site as requested and get hooked up with client POC and check periodically that the consultant has been taken care of at client site and started working.


10. From time to time, Recruiter should develop building relationship with active working consultants to know any issues at client site or with the salary payments etc to safe guard all interests.


11. Recruiter continuously need to improvise the process, find new traits, new techniques, learn and act soft skills depending upon the situation and provide a healthy relationship with consultant and client and hiring manager if needed to make sure the consultant is delivering towards client interests.
